Provisions Applicable to All Products
The Company will-free of charge-repair or replace with
comparable product (at the Company's option) any product,
part, or component manufactured after March 1, 2003,
which fails under normal use as a result of such defect
in material or workmanship. This warranty extends only
to the original purchasers who acquire new product from
the Company or other authorized resellers. The terms
of this warranty set forth all of the warranties given
with respect to the products, and the Company disclaims
any other warranty. This warranty sets forth all remedies
available with respect to defective products.
* Herman Miller Japan product warranty does not apply to any second-hand products and / or products purchased through net-auctions.
The warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear
or to products considered to be "consumable"
such as bulbs and light ballasts and certain electronic
products (e.g., electronic fans, keyless locking mechanisms).
Natural variations occurring in wood, marble, and leather
are not considered defects; the Company does not warrant
the colorfastness or matching of the colors, grains,
or textures of these natural materials or textiles.
To the extent allowed by law, any implied warranties
including any warranty of merchantability or fitness
for a particular purpose are limited in duration to
the duration of these written warranties.
The company shall not be liable for loss of time, inconvenience,
commercial loss, or incidental or consequential damages.
